UNILAG Extends Accommodation Balloting Deadline to November 27, 2025

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced an extension of the application deadline for student accommodation in university halls of residence for the 2025/2026 academic session.

New Deadline

Applications will now close at 11:59 PM on Thursday, November 27, 2025. This is the final deadline - no further extensions are expected.

Key Dates

• Application Deadline: November 27, 2025 (11:59 PM)
• Balloting Date: Friday, November 28, 2025
• Movement into Halls: Wednesday, December 3, 2025

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the accommodation balloting, you must be:

• A 200 to 500 level student
• Have completed course registration for the first semester
• Be within the regular programme duration

How to Apply

Eligible students must apply through their student portals during the designated window after completing course registration.

Important Restrictions

Students currently residing in the following hostels are NOT eligible to participate:

• El-Kannemi Hall 2
• Gbajabiamila
• UNILAG Women Society (ULWS)
• Similar designated hostels

Violations will result in disciplinary action.

Allocation Method

Bed spaces are allocated randomly via balloting among all eligible applicants. Apply before the deadline to be included in the balloting exercise.
