The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) is a Training Centre of the University of Lagos with the mandate to develop and offer Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Professional Certificate and other specialized programmes aimed at capacity building, with strong linkages to professional bodies, for the benefit of the target groups in the public and private sectors of the economy.
The HRDC, UNILAG programmes attract candidates/employees from major organizations within and outside the country and the Centre has impacted in areas relevant to key employment sectors. Our Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and specialized programmes are domiciled in relevant academic departments, thereby guarantying high level of quality control in line with the University standard.
The products of HRDC programmes are well equipped professionally in their various fields of study and HRDC certificate is nationally and internationally recognized. This is particularly evident in the requests for the graduates of our programmes at the top echelons of security outfits, multinational organizations and many other notable organizations and also the admission of our graduates into Direct Entry Undergraduate and Post Graduate Diploma programmes in foreign Universities.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Please visit the HRDC portal, www.hrdc.unilag.edu.ng and click on the programme of your choice for details of the admission requirements.
APPLICATION FEE AND METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Applicants are expected to visit the HRDC portal: http://hrdc.unilag.edu.ng to complete the pre-application form. (Contents of the pre-application form include, Surname, First Name, Middle Name, Next of Kin, E-mail Address and Mobile Phone Number). Upon successful completion of the pre-application form, the applicant will be issued a “Payment Reference Number” (RRR) which should be printed out.
Applicants should take their print out containing the payment reference number to any of the Deposit money banks to make NON-REFUNDABLE payment of #15, 000. 00 (Fifteen thousand naira) via Remita
After payment, applicants should return to HRDC portal, click the application form link, login with the payment Reference Number and the Surname (in lower case and strictly as provided in the pre-application form) as password to access the application form.
Kindly note the following:
- Apart from Social Development and Administration (SDA); Human Kinetics and Health Education (HKHE) and Proficiency Certificate in European Languages, listed in Serial Nos.(1) to (3) which are Full-Time academic programmes and run on weekdays, all other programmes are run on Part-Time (Weekends only).
- Only applicants whose payments are confirmed by the bank will have access to the application form. Applicants who experience challenges may return to the bank where payment was made to request that their payments be posted (Notification of payment receipt ought to be sent to the e-mail addresses of applicants who have paid).
- The password will be as provided in the Surname filled in lower case; errors in filling of surname must therefore be reflected in the password used.
- If payment is not made within five (5) days after obtaining Reference Number (voucher); aka Remitta Retrieval Reference (RRR), the pre-application would be DECLINED. Applicants should then be expected to re-complete the pre-application form to obtain a new Payment Reference Number (voucher) i.e. RRR.
- After completion of application form, click submit and also submit printed copies at the HRDC Secretariat not later than six (6) weeks from the date of this advert with the following documents:
- Two (2) photocopies of Birth Certificate and Credentials.
- Two (2) photocopies of Reference Number printout.
- Original and photocopy of #15, 000. 00 (Fifteen thousand naira) teller.
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION: Candidates whose applications are successful will be notified via their respective e-mails as well as the portal of HRDC.
ADMISSION LETTERS: Admission letters for shortlisted candidates are to be printed online. Please note that letters of Admission will not be posted to individual candidates.
