UNILAG hostel application and balloting for 200-500 level students, 2025/2026
The University of Lagos has announced the opening of its hostel accommodation application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible candidates must meet these criteria:
- Currently enrolled as 200 to 500 level students
- Have completed course registration for the first semester
- Be within the regular program duration for their course of study

How the Allocation Works
The accommodation allocation process uses a random balloting system among all eligible applicants. Students who complete their course registration can apply concurrently. Bed spaces will be distributed through this automated lottery system to ensure fairness.
Who Cannot Apply?
Students currently residing in the following hostels are excluded from this balloting exercise:
- El-Kannemi Hall 2
- Gbajabiamila
- Women Society
- Other designated campus hostels
The Student Affairs Division maintains records of students in these facilities. Any violations will result in disciplinary action through the Students’ Disciplinary Board for social misconduct.
