UNILAG Post UTME Form Information for 2024/2025

LATEST UPDATE: The 2024/2025 University of Lagos Post-UTME application, which was earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, August 5, 2024 to Friday, August 23, 2024 is hereby extended by one week. Consequently, the application will now close on Friday, August 30, 2024. The procedure and fees for registration, as well as the dates for the conduct of the examination (2nd to 6th September, 2024) however, remain unchanged.

All eligible candidates who are yet to register are advised to utilise this extended period to perfect their registration.

Post-UTME Instructions

Ahead of the scheduled Post-UTME Aptitude Test, all candidates are advised to read and follow carefully, the instructions indicated below:

General Instructions

1. This is an on-line competitive qualifying aptitude test. Candidates are advised to have a reliable internet connection before attempting the on-line aptitude test.

2. Candidates’ activities during the period of the aptitude test will be monitored and recorded. Candidates must comport themselves accordingly and will be required to attempt the test with a web-cam and microphone enabled device. (Use of mobile phones for the aptitude test is not supported).

3. Candidates are forbidden from covering their web-cams during the period of the aptitude test. Our inability to see the candidate at any time during the test may result in disqualification.

4. During the aptitude test, candidates are not permitted to leave their position. Please prepare adequately before commencing the test.

5. In the course of the aptitude test, candidates are not permitted to leave the test tab for another tab or application on the computer for any reason. Departure from the test tab may result in disqualification.

6. Nobody is permitted to be around a candidate during the period of the test, not even family members. Candidates may be disqualified if anybody is seen around them during the test.

7. The duration of the aptitude test is 30 minutes. The time starts to count immediately candidates click the start button and continues to count even if you log out before your 30 minutes lapses.

8. Do not speak or read the questions out during the aptitude test. This may result in disqualification.

9. In the event that a candidate runs out of time, the aptitude test will automatically be submitted.

10. Use of face mask, face cap, ear piece or head phone during the test is prohibited.

11. Candidates should note that they can ONLY LOG IN on their scheduled date and time.

12. To report any issues encountered before or during the examination, kindly use the “Make Complaints” button located on the test login page or the submission page. Please ensure that you exhaust all troubleshooting suggestions provided before submitting a complaint.

We recommend reporting any issues as soon as they occur to avoid delays in resolving them. You will receive updates via email or through the examination platform regarding the status of your complaint as soon as the issue is resolved.

Candidates are advised to report any challenge immediately 

Directions to take examination

The examination can be accessed by either clicking the “Click Here To Take Exam” at the bottom of this email or by logging in via https://unilag.webtest.ng with your UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password. Both options will lead to our examinations instruction page where you would be required to follow the below steps:

Step 1: Install the examination browser (Not required for candidates who have previously installed the browser)

Step 2: Click the link to download your unique examination configuration

Step 3: Launch the configuration file to launch the examination, then click Enter to start.

Optional Mock Examination

An optional mock examination has been scheduled to hold from Saturday, August 24, to Sunday, September 1, 2024. This will afford candidates the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the examination platform ahead of time. They will install the examination browser and test same on their laptop or desktop computers ahead of the actual Post-UTME examination. 

Candidates who choose to take advantage of the optional mock examination are expected to pay an administrative fee of N2,000 only. 

Payment can be made by logging into the application portal and clicking the “Pay Online” button to pay online or by clicking the “Payment Advice” button to generate a bill containing RRR number for payment in any commercial bank in Nigeria

Candidates who pay for the mock examination would be scheduled through the link.

Candidates are strongly advised to avail themselves of this window of opportunity of the mock examination in order to:

(a) install the examination browser

(b) take the mock examination; and

(c) get some practice on the device they intend to use for the actual Post-UTME examination.

Please note:

The examination browser is only available on Windows 8.1 OS.

MAC OS is not supported.

UNILAG Post UTME Form and Screening Details

UNILAG Post-UTME form, registration details, cut-off mark, application cost, screening date and other relevant information for the 2024/2025 academic session have been announced. The minimum required cut-off mark is 200. Application cost is ₦2000. Deadline is Friday, August 30, 2024.

UNILAG Post UTME Screening Invitation

The University of Lagos online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into ALL UNDERGRADUATE COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, will commence from Monday, 5th August to Friday, August 30, 2024.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:

Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening.

In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O-Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Only candidates who must have uploaded their O/Level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before 9th September 2024 will be considered for admission.

Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October 2024 are not eligible and need not apply.

Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude test will not be considered for admission.

Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.

Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Eligible candidates should log on to University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng, then, take the following steps:

  • Click on Admissions

     

  • Click on Post-UTME Application

     

  • Login with UTME Application number as username and surname in lowercase as password

  • Generate and print payment advice

  • Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online

  • Return to the University portal to complete the screening form

  • Print Post-UTME Examination Pass

About UNILAG

The University of Lagos was founded in 1962. It presently has three Campuses in Yaba and Surulere. Whereas two of its Campuses are located in Yaba (the main campus in Akoka and the recently created campus at the former School of Radiography), its College of Medicine is located in Idi-Araba, Surulere. It is remarkable that all the three campuses are located in the Mainland of Lagos. Its main campus is largely surrounded by the scenic view of the Lagos lagoon on 802 acres of land in Akoka, North Eastern part of Yaba.
