UNILAG Sandwich Program 2024/2025: Education Degree for Teachers

The University of Lagos Institute of Continuing Education, in partnership with the Faculty of Education, is accepting applications for B.A. Ed. and B.Sc. Ed. sandwich programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

What is the Sandwich Program?

The sandwich program lets teachers and education professionals earn bachelor's degrees while working. Classes run during school vacations and weekends, making it possible to teach full-time while studying.

Available Study Areas

Adult Education, Arts Education (English, French, History, Igbo, Yoruba, Religious Studies), Educational Administration, Guidance and Counselling, Human Kinetics and Health Education, Science Education (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Mathematics), Social Sciences Education (Early Childhood, Economics, Geography), Technology and Vocational Education

Entry Requirements

5-Year Program: Minimum 5 O-Level credits (including English and Mathematics) obtained in maximum 2 sittings

4-Year Program: Merit-level Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in relevant field

3-Year Program: Bachelor's degree or HND in relevant field plus Postgraduate Diploma in Education

Application Details

Application Fee: ₦15,000 (non-refundable)

How to Apply: Visit www.unilag.edu.ng and complete the online application. Pay via ATM or bank transfer through Remita Platform (Treasury Single Account). Submit completed forms online and deliver hard copies to the Sandwich Programme Office.
