UNILAG Student Who Crowdfunded Tuition Celebrates Graduation

Oluwakemisola Emmanuel, a University of Lagos student who previously sought public financial assistance for her tuition fees, has officially completed her degree.

The graduate shared an emotional reflection on Instagram, detailing her academic challenges during her first and second years when financial constraints nearly derailed her education. Determined to persist, she appealed to the public for support, which enabled her to continue her studies through completion.

Celebrating her achievement, Oluwakemisola posted professional graduation photographs and expressed her gratitude, stating: "Officially a B.Sc. Mass Communication graduate from the University of Lagos! What started in December 2017 has finally come to a beautiful end today."
