UNIOSUN Resumption Date and Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Session (UPDATED)
UNIOSUN Resumption Date: This is to inform all the students (both fresh and returning) of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for the first semester, 2019/2020 academic session.
This is to inform all the students (both fresh and returning) of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date and academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.
UNIOSUN Resumption Date
This is to inform all students of the Osun State University that the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Senate has approved the postponement of resumption for 2023/2024 academic session for all students (Fresh and Returning Students). All students will now resume on Monday, 20th November, 2023.
A statement issued by the University’s Public Relations’ Officer, Ademola Adesoji, on Monday, October 16, 2023, confirmed that candidates who successfully passed the Post-UTME Screening and meet the various cut-off marks would be granted provisional admission and will be expected to commence classes on Monday, November 13, alongside returning students. The statement highlighted, “Osun State University Management has officially set the resumption date for the 2023/2024 academic session on Monday, November 13, 2023.
The change in the date is for the safety of students since their hostels had been recently fumigated and the hostels will be safely accessible on Monday, 20th November, 2023.
By this memorandum, all students are being informed of the postponement of the earlier resumption date announced and now Monday, 20th November, 2023. Thank you!

Monday, 13th November, 2023: Resumption for 2023/2024 academic session & Commencement of Harmattan Semester Lectures for Fresh and Returning Students
Monday, 20th – Wednesday, 22nd November, 2023: Orientation for fresh students
Tuesday, 13th February, 2024: Matriculation
Monday, 19th – Friday, 23rd February, 2024: Lecture free week
Monday, 25th March – Friday, 5th April, 2024: Semester Break
