The Vice-Chancellor of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has released a notice to all students and staff of the institution. The notice reads;
Dear colleagues, students and ALL, we are of living witness to the orgy of lawlessness in the state and other parts of the country, and the imperative of another round of curfew as declared by our state Government.
Unfortunately, this has negative implications on our plans as a university. However, as a law-abiding institution, we have to comply strictly. Arising from this, we like to implore our students to concentrate on their studies in their hostels and other places of abode.
Only staff on essential duties may move in and out of our campuses, May we also implore those who relish in the circulation of fake and inclining news to please, sheath their sword for the sake of our common humanity. The University will not bear the cost of any needless risk.
