University of Ibadan (UI) has announced Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration details for the 2026/2027 admission cycle. The admission portal is scheduled to open from Monday, June 22, 2026 to Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Who Can Apply

  • UTME candidates who scored 200 or above in the 2026 UTME.
  • Direct Entry candidates with accepted qualifications such as Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, ND, HND or degree credentials from recognised institutions.
  • Candidates applying to the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must have five relevant O-Level credits at one sitting.
  • For other programmes, candidates using two O-Level sittings must have at least six relevant credits.

UI also applies an age-clearance rule for admission. Confirm the exact age-clearance date displayed on the admission portal before submitting your application.

Fees and Payment

  • Portal access fee: N3,000
  • Screening fee: N2,000
  • Total: N5,000

Payments are made through the UI admissions portal. Candidates can pay by card, bank transfer or bank branch payment generated from the portal.

How to Register

  1. Visit the UI admissions portal.
  2. Log in with your JAMB registration number as username.
  3. Use your surname as the initial password.
  4. Pay the portal access and screening fees.
  5. Complete the online form and print your payment success receipt.

Exam Date

The Post-UTME examination is scheduled for Monday, July 27 to Wednesday, July 29, 2026. UI will communicate each candidate's specific date later, so applicants should use a valid email address and active phone number.

  • Confirm your JAMB score is 200 or above.
  • Check your O-Level subject combination for your intended course.
