UNN Post-UTME/Admission Screening 2024/2025: Cut-off Marks, Screening Schedule, and Registration Details

LATEST UPDATE: This is to inform all UNN prospective students that the portal for screening registration will be closed on Wednesday 9th October 2024 by 12 noon. 

Any prospective student who intends to make any update or corrections should do that before 12 noon.

Kindly bring this to the notice of your children and wards.

The University of Nigeria (UNN) hereby invites candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above for the screening exercise.

Online Registration

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of ₦2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.

The online registration commences on Thursday, August 08, 2024 and ends on Wednesday 9th October 2024 by 12 noon.

Candidates should ensure that the names on their WAEC/NECO results are consistent and same with their names in JAMB.
Candidates waiting to write November/December 2024 GCE and NECO are not eligible to apply.
Candidates below the age of 16 years by October 2024 should not apply.

Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration

1. Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration
2. Log on to the University Website: unn.edu.ng
3. Click on UNN portal (Top right corner of the Website)
4. Click Prospective Students
5. Select Online Application Form for 2024/2025 Admission Screening Exercise
6. Enter JAMB Registration Number
7. Generate Invoice
8. Proceed to bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card
9. Return to Portal
10. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
11. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields
12. Enter O/Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number. Note: Awaiting Results candidates should list their SSCE subjects)
13. Re-enter your grades correctly
14. Upload Certificates (Ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)
    • Birth Certificate
    • Local Government Identification
    • Testimonial
    • First School Leaving Certificate
    • JAMB Result Slip
    • O/Level 1
    • O/Level 2 (For double sitting candidates) and click the NEXT button
15. Review Summary Page and check that all details entered are correct
16. Check the CONFIRMATION BOX below
17. Click SUBMIT
18. Print Acknowledgement Slip.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR 2024/2025 WHO MADE UNN THEIR FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION SHOULD ALSO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING.
