UOESD National Quiz Competition 2026 for Junior Secondary Schools

The United Organisation for Education and Sports Development (UOESD) has announced the 12th edition of its National Quiz Competition for Junior Secondary School students across Nigeria. This competition promotes academic excellence and critical thinking among Nigerian students.

Eligibility

• Junior Secondary School students (JSS 1, JSS 2, JSS 3)
• Students from public, private, and missionary schools are welcome
• Unlimited number of participants per school

Subjects Tested

• English Language
• Igbo Language
• Mathematics
• Current Affairs
• Civic Education

Competition Schedule

First Round (Online)

Date: Saturday, 21st February 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Platform: www.uoesd.org

Results: Published 30th March 2026

Awards

• Gold: 90–100 points
• Silver: 80–89 points
• Bronze: 70–79 points

Grand finale prizes include cash rewards, trophies, and certificates for top performers.
