UUTH College of Community Health — Admission for 2026/2027 Session

Application forms are now available for admission into the College of Community Health at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) for the 2026/2027 academic session. Below are the requirements, fees, important dates and practical guidance for applicants.

Who is eligible?

Prospective applicants must meet one of the following academic standards:

  • Diploma route: Hold a Diploma in Community Health or a Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) Certificate.
  • Degree route (special one-year programme): Hold a first degree in Health Education, Community Health or Public Health.

All applicants must also satisfy the following conditions:

  • At least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/WASCE/NECO or GCE O/L in no more than two sittings.
  • Required credit subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Registration with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria and possession of a valid practising license.

Application fees & programme duration

  • Degree holders: Form fee ₦15,000. Duration: one academic session.
  • Non-degree holders: Form fee ₦10,000. Duration: two academic sessions.

Payment procedure: application forms are sold directly at the College of Community Health, UUTH. Candidates must present the purchase receipt to receive the official application form.

How to apply — step by step

  1. Visit the College of Community Health at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo to buy the application form.
  2. Keep the official purchase receipt safe — you will need to present it in order to obtain the application form.
  3. Complete the application form in full and attach the required documents (see checklist below).
