Venite University Nursing Programme Gets Five-Year NUC Accreditation

Venite University, Iloro-Ekiti, has announced that its Bachelor of Nursing Science programme received five-year full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The university said the approval followed an accreditation exercise conducted in May 2026, during which the programme recorded a cumulative score of 82.80%. The approval was conveyed in an official letter dated 13 July 2026.

What the accreditation means

Full accreditation confirms that the Nursing Science programme has met the Commission's requirements for continued operation under the approved programme title and status. It gives prospective students an important quality-assurance signal when comparing nursing programmes.

Venite University also stated that admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session are open. Applicants should confirm current entry requirements and application instructions through the university's official admissions page before applying.
