WAEC 2024 SSCE Results Performance Statistics Released

WAEC 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination SSCE Results have been released.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the result statistics for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

The release of the results was announced by the Head of Nigeria Office (HNO), Patrick Areghan at the headquarters of the examination body in Lagos.

According to the him, out of 1,805, 216 that entered for the exam, 1,332, 089 candidates have credits in five subjects including any subjects with either Mathematics or English language and 1,301, 949 candidates got credits in five subjects including Mathematics and English language accounting for 72.9% of total candidates.

This performance shows a 7.6 per cent decrease in examination performance compared to last year of 2023 WASSCE.

The results of 215, 267 results were withheld due to examination malpractice by the candidates. This accounts for 11.92% of the total number of candidates who wrote the examination.
