Westland University Post-UTME 2025: Application Guide for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates

Westland University, Iwo, Osun State has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Qualified JAMB candidates can now apply online.

Eligibility Requirements

For UTME Candidates

You are eligible if you:

• Chose Westland University as your first or second choice in JAMB, AND
• Scored at or above JAMB's current cut-off mark for universities (150), OR
• Scored at or above the cut-off but didn't initially choose Westland and want to change institution

For Direct Entry Candidates

You need ONE of the following:

• 2-3 A-Level credits in relevant subjects
• JUPEB qualification with acceptable grades
• Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution
• National Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Higher National Diploma (HND)

O'Level Requirements (All Applicants)

You must have:

• Minimum of five (5) credit passes
• From WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB
• Maximum of two (2) sittings
• Must include English Language and Mathematics
• Plus three other subjects relevant to your chosen course (check JAMB brochure for specific requirements)

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Go to https://westland.edu.ng/portal/register

Step 2: Complete the Online Form

• Fill in all required personal and academic information
• Ensure accuracy - errors may delay or disqualify your application

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

Prepare and upload the following in PDF format:

• JAMB UTME result slip
• O'Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• Passport photograph

Step 4: Make Payment and Submit

• Pay the application fee (amount to be confirmed on portal)
• Important: Application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
• Submit your completed application
• Print your acknowledgement slip for screening

Important Notes

1. Change of Institution: If you didn't originally choose Westland University in JAMB, you can still apply through the university's process. Ensure you meet the cut-off requirements.

2. Subject Combinations: Check the JAMB brochure for correct subject combinations for your intended course. Wrong subjects may lead to disqualification.

3. Document Format: All uploads MUST be in PDF format. Other formats may not be accepted by the system.

4. Non-Refundable Fee: Once you pay the application fee, it cannot be refunded. Ensure you're eligible before making payment.
