YABATECH Warns Students Against Fake School Fees and Hostel Fee Notices

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has issued an urgent disclaimer warning students against fraudulent fee information circulating about ND 2 school fees and hostel accommodation charges.

The Fake Fees Being Circulated

The college management has identified the following unauthorised and false figures being shared among students:

• ND 2 school fees: ₦130,000
• Hostel accommodation: ₦90,000
• Utility fees: ₦11,000

YABATECH has confirmed that none of these figures originated from the College Management or the Students' Affairs Unit.

Warning to Students

The Dean's office has warned that any payments made based on these unauthorised or unapproved fee structures will be at the sole risk and detriment of the payer. Students who pay based on unverified fee information may not be able to recover their money.

What Students Should Do

• Disregard any fee information not published through official YABATECH channels
• Rely only on communication from the college management or Students' Affairs Unit
• Do not make payments to any account based on unverified fee notices
• Contact the Students' Affairs Unit directly through proper institutional channels to confirm your actual financial obligations
