AAUA 14th Convocation Ceremony: Complete Programme of Events (December 5-14, 2025)

Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, has unveiled the complete programme for its 14th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to run from December 5 to 14, 2025.

Week-Long Celebration Schedule

The University Multipurpose Hall will serve as the primary venue for degree conferments and prize presentations. Here's the complete breakdown of events:

Day-by-Day Programme

• Friday, December 5: Jumat Service at the Central Mosque (12:00 noon)
• Saturday, December 6: Keep-Fit Exercise at Sports Centre (6:00 a.m.)
• Monday, December 8: Vice Chancellor's Press Conference in Senate Chamber (10:00 a.m.)
• Tuesday, December 9: Research Fair and Convocation Play (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Thursday, December 11: Convocation Lecture by Prof. Wole Olaniyan (2:00 p.m.), followed by Graduands' Cocktail (5:00 p.m.)
• Friday-Saturday, December 12-13: Degree conferments across all faculties and postgraduate programmes
• Sunday, December 14: Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service (10:00 a.m.)

Convocation Lecture

The convocation lecture titled "Strengthening the Academic Tradition" will be delivered by Prof. Wole Olaniyan, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan.
