Kaduna Polytechnic will host a week-long series of events to mark the Combined Convocation and the institution’s 70th Anniversary. The celebrations will recognize graduates from the 2016/2017 through 2024/2025 academic sessions. Key activities include lectures, prayers, a dinner, and the formal convocation ceremony, providing an opportunity for both the institution and graduands to celebrate academic achievements and legacy.

• Friday, May 8th, 2026:
  Special Juma’ah Prayers – 1:00 PM at KPT Central Mosque, Main Campus.
• Sunday, May 10th, 2026:
  Interdenominational Service – 10:00 AM at KPT Chapel, Main Campus.
• Monday, May 11th, 2026:
  Press Conference – 11:00 AM at Council Chambers, Central Admin Block, Main Campus.
• Friday, May 15th, 2026:
  Pre-Convocation Lecture – 2:30 PM at Civil Engineering Lecture Theatre, Main Campus.
  Lecturer: Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Coordination.
  Convocation Dinner (by invitation) – 5:00 PM at Multipurpose Hall, Department of Hospitality CST.
• Saturday, May 16th, 2026:
  Grand Finale: Combined Convocation & 70th Anniversary Ceremony – 9:00 AM at Convocation Square, Main Campus, Tudun Wada. Guests to be seated by 9:00 AM prompt.

Important Information for Graduands: Academic Gown Collection & Return

• Payment: Pay a total of ₦20,000 (₦10,000 for rental + ₦10,000 refundable deposit) at Kadpoly Micro Finance Bank, Central Administration, Main Campus.
• Collection: Academic gowns are available for collection from Monday, May 11th, 2026 at the Department of Polymer and Textile Technology, College of Science and Technology, Main Campus.
• Return Policy: Return your gown on or before Tuesday, May 19th, 2026. Late return attracts a penalty fee of ₦1,000 per day.
