Cut-Off Marks

For Degree Programmes (B.Sc/B.Eng)

Minimum JAMB Score: 200

You must have scored at least 200 in the 2025 JAMB UTME to be eligible for AFIT's degree programmes.

For National Diploma (ND) Programmes

Minimum JAMB Score: 160

ND programme applicants need a minimum of 160 in JAMB UTME.

For HND and Pre-HND Programmes

Specific requirements available on the AFIT portal and JAMB's Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).

Eligibility Requirements

Primary Requirement: First Choice Only

Critical Rule: Only candidates who selected AFIT, Kaduna as their first choice institution in JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise.

What If AFIT Wasn't Your First Choice?

You can still apply, but you must:

1. Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT center
2. Request a change of institution to make AFIT your first choice
3. Complete the change by July 18, 2025 (deadline)
4. Obtain confirmation of the change
5. Then proceed to register for PTI Post-UTME

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

If you're applying through Direct Entry:

• Check specific DE requirements on the AFIT portal
• Must have IJMB, JUPEB, A-Levels, NCE, OND, or HND in relevant fields
• AFIT must be your first choice DE institution
