AKSU Sandwich Programme Admission 2025/2026: Courses, Fee and Deadline
Akwa Ibom State University is accepting applications for its 2025/2026 Sandwich Programmes through the Institute of Education and Professional Studies. The vacation programmes are for candidates seeking B.Sc. (Ed), B.A. (Ed) or B.Ed qualifications.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet AKSU matriculation requirements and the department-specific requirements for the chosen course. Candidates are expected to have one of the following:
- NCE or an equivalent qualification in two relevant teaching subjects, at least at merit level, plus five relevant O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.
- Teachers' Grade II Certificate with credit or merit in at least five relevant subjects, including English Language.
- A relevant diploma at merit level, provided the required O'Level subjects have also been satisfied.

Application Fee and Portal
The application fee is N20,000, excluding transaction charges. Candidates should apply through the verified AKSU study portal: study.aksu.edu.ng.
How to Apply
- Visit the AKSU study portal.
- Select Register Now.
- Choose Sandwich.
- Select the Institute of Education and Professional Studies.
- Enter a valid email address and complete the required personal details.
- Proceed to payment and keep the payment page open until the transaction is complete.
- Return to the portal, complete the registration form and print a copy.
Submission Deadline
Completed forms should be submitted online with uploaded credentials and proof of payment not later than Friday, July 17, 2026. Registration for successful applicants is expected to begin on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Printed Form Submission
Applicants should forward printed forms and credentials in an envelope addressed to the Director, Institute of Education and Professional Studies, Faculty of Education, Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin L.G.A., PMB 1167, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
