Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has commenced the sale of admission forms for Direct Entry admission into the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates interested in pursuing CAM at AKUM must apply through JAMB.

Complementary and Alternative Medicine is a growing field that blends conventional medical knowledge with traditional, holistic, and integrative approaches to patient care. AKUM's CAM programme trains graduates to practise evidence-based alternative therapies alongside standard clinical care.

Eligibility Requirements
- A minimum of 5 O'Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings
- Higher qualification required for Direct Entry, such as:
- A-Level passes in Biology and Chemistry (IJMB, JUPEB, or Cambridge A-Levels)
- Relevant ND or HND in health science programmes from accredited institutions
- A first degree in a related biological or medical science field
- Candidates must meet the JAMB cut-off mark for AKUM's CAM programme
How to Apply
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal and purchase a Direct Entry application form
- Select Abdulkadir Kure University (AKUM) as your first choice institution
- Choose Complementary and Alternative Medicine as your preferred course
- Complete the JAMB DE application with accurate academic details
- After JAMB registration, visit the AKUM students portal at students.akum.edu.ng to complete institutional screening
- Upload O'Level results, A-Level results, and all supporting documents
- Pay the AKUM screening fee as directed on the portal
- Monitor your JAMB CAPS for admission status updates

- Candidates applying through UTME must follow a separate application pathway, not this Direct Entry notice
- AKUM will verify all uploaded credentials before offering admission
- Falsified documents lead to immediate disqualification
- Successful Direct Entry candidates are admitted into 200 Level
