Crescent University announces job vacancies for senior administrative and finance positions

Crescent University, Abeokuta, the citadel of academic and moral excellence, has announced vacancies for several senior positions in its administration, finance, and works divisions. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates.

CATEGORY A – FINANCE & ACCOUNTING POSITIONS

Deputy Bursar

Requires at least five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics, a First Degree in Accounting, a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, and membership of ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA. Minimum 17 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Deputy Director, Internal Audit

Must hold the rank of Chief Internal Auditor or equivalent, First Degree in Accounting (Second Class Lower or higher), Master's Degree, and membership of ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA. Requires 18 years post-qualification experience, with at least 8 years in senior auditing.

Chief Accountant

Requires five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics, First Degree in Accounting, Master's Degree, membership of ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA, and 14 years post-qualification experience. Proficiency in accounting software is essential.

Principal Accountant

Requires five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics, First Degree/HND in Accounting or related discipline, membership of ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA, and 10 years post-qualification experience. Must be skilled in accounting software.

Senior Accountant

Requires five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics, First Degree/HND in Accounting or related discipline, membership of ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA, and 20 years post-qualification experience. Leadership skills and software proficiency are essential.

CATEGORY B – WORKS AND SERVICES POSITIONS

Director, Works and Services Division

The Director oversees day-to-day administration of the Works and Services Division and reports to the Vice-Chancellor. Must have an engineering qualification recognized by COREN and NSE, with 15 years of experience including at least 5 years in a university system.

Deputy Director, Works and Services Division

Requires an engineering qualification recognized by COREN and NSE, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
