DELSU Post-UTME/Direct Entry 2025: Registration Guide and Requirements

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who scored 150 or above in JAMB UTME can now register for the admission screening exercise.

Application Timeline

• Opening Date: Thursday, 24th July, 2025
• Closing Date: 7th September, 2025 (12:00 midnight)
• Duration: 6 weeks

Eligibility Requirements

For UTME Candidates:

• Minimum JAMB Score: 150 and above
• Choice of Institution: Must have selected DELSU as first choice
• O'Level Results: Results must be uploaded to JAMB (qualifying results uploaded)
• Subject Requirements: Five credits including English and Mathematics in relevant subjects

For Direct Entry Candidates:

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:

• National Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND)
• First Degree from a recognized institution
• Advanced Level ('A' Level) certificate

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your DELSU Post-UTME registration:

1. Visit Portal: Go to studentportal.delsu.edu.ng
2. Select Application Type: Click on "POST UTME 2025/2026"
3. Enter JAMB Details: Provide your JAMB registration number and required information
4. Complete Form: Fill in all personal and academic details accurately
5. Make Payment: Pay the screening fee using the provided payment options
6. Upload Documents:
   • O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
   • Recent passport photograph
   • For DE: Upload relevant certificates
7. Submit Application: Review all entries and submit
8. Print Slip: Download and print your application acknowledgment slip

Changing Choice of Institution

If you didn't initially select DELSU as your first choice:

1. Visit the JAMB website or any accredited JAMB CBT centre
2. Complete a Change of Institution form
3. Select Delta State University, Abraka as your new first choice
4. Wait for the change to reflect in JAMB's system
5. Then proceed with DELSU Post-UTME registration
