EKSU Law Graduate Dies During Treatment for Malaria

A student of the Nigeria law school law and a graduate of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Seyi Fatoba, died after being on treatment for Malaria fever.

The deceases said to have complained of “swollen legs and great discomfort” at the hospital where she was being treated. The malaria treatment was said to have been continued despite her lingering illness, until she eventually died.

A friend of Seyi disheartened by the loss, described the deceased as “brilliant and a very strong fighter of goodwill,” and blamed the poor state of Nigeria’s health care for her death.
