Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has opened its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening process. The screening starts on Friday, July 3, 2026, and candidates should note that there will be no written examination.

Who Can Apply?

  • UTME candidates who chose EKSU as first-choice institution.
  • UTME candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored at least 150 and are ready to change their first choice to EKSU on JAMB CAPS.
  • Direct Entry candidates with relevant qualifications for their chosen programmes.
  • Candidates awaiting SSCE results may apply once their results are released.

Candidates whose scores are below the requirement for their chosen course may consider changing to another suitable course on JAMB CAPS.

O'Level and Direct Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must have relevant O'Level credit passes in not more than two sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates for Engineering programmes should have at least Upper Credit from a polytechnic.
  • Direct Entry candidates for other programmes should have at least Lower Credit where applicable.
  • For Nursing Science, candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as Registered Nurses where applicable.
  • NCE candidates applying for Education programmes should have Credit or Merit in relevant teaching subjects.

Direct Entry Transcript Deadline

Direct Entry candidates should send transcripts to [email protected] on or before Friday, July 31, 2026. Applications without the required transcript may not be considered.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the EKSU admission portal.
  2. Select Admission to open the online application portal.
  3. Sign up with a valid email address and personal phone number.
  4. Use the verification email to activate your account.
  5. Log in with your email address or JAMB registration number and password.
  6. Select the 2026/2027 FUTME application type.
  7. Enter your JAMB registration number and complete the required details.
  8. Pay for the screening form through the online payment page.
  9. Upload a passport photograph and O'Level result details.
  10. Submit, validate and print the completed screening form.

Important Notes

  • EKSU will consider only candidates who participate in the screening process.
  • False information or incorrect uploads can lead to automatic disqualification.
  • NECO candidates may be required to provide result verification tokens for O'Level verification.
  • Use an active email address and phone number throughout the admission process.
