English Language is mandatory for non-science courses, while Mathematics is required for science programs. Higher National Diploma (HND) candidates need 5 credit passes including English and Mathematics.
Colleges of Education
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs now require 4 credit passes minimum. English is mandatory for Arts and Social Sciences, while Mathematics is required for Science, Vocational, and Technical programs. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programs require 5 credit passes.
Innovation Enterprise Academies
These institutions will follow the same requirements as Polytechnic ND programs. Notably, the National Innovation Diploma (NID) program has been abolished.
