JAMB CAPS: How to Check and Accept Admission Status
JAMB CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) is the official platform used to process admission offers in Nigeria. You can check your status, accept or reject an offer, and print your admission letter through the JAMB e-Facility portal.
What you need before you start
- Your JAMB-registered email address and password
- Your JAMB registration number
- Access to the phone number and email used during registration
- A stable internet connection (or a CBT centre if you cannot log in)
How to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS
- Go to the JAMB e-Facility portal: efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- On your dashboard, select "Check Admission Status".
- Choose "Access my CAPS".
- Click "Admission Status" to view your offer.
How to accept or reject an offer
On the CAPS page, click "Accept" to confirm the offer or "Reject" if you no longer want it. Accepting an offer ends consideration for other schools, so be sure before you confirm.
Print your admission letter
After you accept an offer, return to the e-Facility portal and use the admission letter option to print your letter. You will need it for clearance and registration at your institution.
If your status shows "not admitted" or no offer yet
- Keep checking; admission lists are uploaded in batches.
- Ensure your O'Level results are uploaded. If not, visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre or JAMB office to upload.
- Confirm your details are correct (name, date of birth, and subject combination).
- Check your institution's portal for additional updates.
