FUTA Post-UTME 2025: Complete Registration Guide, Requirements & Deadlines

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has released details for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening. Registration opens Friday, July 25 and closes August 28, 2025.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for FUTA's admission screening, candidates must meet these requirements:

• Minimum JAMB UTME score of 180 for UTME candidates
• FUTA listed as first choice institution in JAMB
• At least five O-level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
• Credits obtained in maximum two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Minimum age of 16 years by September 30, 2025

How to Register

Follow these steps to complete your FUTA Post-UTME registration:

1. Visit the official FUTA website at www.futa.edu.ng
2. Access the Post-UTME Application Form portal
3. Complete all required fields accurately
4. Generate Remita payment code for the ₦2,000 screening fee
5. Make payment through the Remita platform
6. Print your registration confirmation

Critical Deadline: O-Level Results Upload

Candidates must upload their O-level results to JAMB CAPS and share with FUTA before the August 28, 2025 deadline. The university has emphasized that failure to complete this step will disqualify affected candidates from admission consideration.
