The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has increased the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state by N5,000.
He announced this when he visited the NYSC Rivers State headquarters in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. He said that the monthly allowance of corpers serving outside Port Harcourt has been increased from N10,000 to N15,000 while the allowance of corpers serving in Port Harcourt has been increased from N5,000 to N10,000.
