  • UTME e-PIN Sales: Monday, 19th January - Thursday, 26th February, 2026
  • UTME Registration: Monday, 26th January - Saturday, 28th February, 2026
  • Direct Entry Registration: Monday, 2nd March - Saturday, 25th April, 2026

Age Requirement

Only candidates who will be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2026 are eligible. Underage candidates must score at least 80% in UTME/A'Level, PUTME, and SSCE to be considered for a waiver.

Fees and Charges

There are 3 categories of e-PINs:

  • Direct Entry: ₦5,700
  • UTME Only (Without Mock): ₦7,200
  • UTME With Mock: ₦8,700

  • JAMB Application Fee: ₦3,500
  • Reading Text: ₦1,000
  • CBT Centre Registration Service: ₦700
  • CBT Centre UTME Service: ₦1,500
  • Bank Charges: ₦500

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Create Your Profile

  1. Send your NIN by SMS to 55019 or 66019
  2. Format: NIN 00123456789 (space between NIN and your 11-digit number)
  3. You'll receive a 10-character Profile Code on the same phone number

Step 2: Purchase e-PIN

  1. Visit any participating bank, NIPOST, MMO, or MFB
  2. Present your Profile Code
  3. Pay the appropriate fee
  4. e-PIN will be sent to your phone number

Step 3: Register at CBT Centre

  1. Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT Centre
  2. Present your Profile Code and e-PIN
  3. Your photograph and all 10 fingerprints will be captured
  4. Provide your email address, qualifications, choice of institutions, course, and UTME subjects
  5. Review all entries carefully
  6. Print Registration Slip using biometric authentication

Entry Requirements

For UTME (100 Level Degree/ND/NCE):

  • Degree: Minimum 5 credit passes including English in not more than 2 sittings. Mathematics mandatory for Science, Technology, and Social Science programmes.
  • ND/NCE: Minimum 4 credit passes in relevant subjects

For Direct Entry:

  • Minimum 5 O'level credit passes at not more than 2 sittings
  • At least 2 must be at Principal or Advanced level
  • Acceptable qualifications: A-Level (IJMB, JUPEB, NABTEB), First Degree, ND, HND, NCE

Important Rules

Compulsory Disclosure

Candidates must disclose their previous admission/matriculation status. False or non-declaration will invalidate your registration.

Biometric Warning

Ensure only YOUR fingerprints are captured. Using multiple NINs or double registration is strictly prohibited and will be severely sanctioned.

No Changes After Registration

Once registration is completed with NIMC biodata, no subsequent changes will be allowed by JAMB.
