How Many Times Can I Change My Course or Institution?
A lot of candidates have been asking this question: How many times can I change my course or school? Here’s the answer:
The Joint Admission and matriculation board (JAMB) has advised candidates who wish to effect changes on either their course and institution or make corrections on any of their data to note that the process can only be done twice (2 times).
According to JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, (PRO) Fabian Benjamin, “You are allowed to change courses and institutions not more than two times, if you change the first time and experience an issue, you are allowed to change the second time.
Before you proceed to change your course or institution, please make sure you do the following:
- Be sure of the Course/Institution you would like to make changes. Verify if the course is available in the school using the JAMB Brochure.
- Ensure that the school you are changing to does not usually have a cut off mark higher than your score.
- Ensure you select a Course/Institution that is in line with your subject combination to avoid being screened out during your school’s admission screening exercise.
