JAMB Remits N5bn to Federal Government after 2019 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it remitted N5bn to the Federal Government after the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

JAMB revealed this on Monday in its weekly bulletin by its Head of Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin. Benjamin later told NAN that the Federal Government returned N2bn to the body to enhance its operations.

This figure is lower than 2018 when the board made and remitted N7.8bn to the Federal Government.
