Tohoku University, abbreviated to Tohokudai, located in Sendai, Miyagi in the Tōhoku Region, Japan, is a Japanese national university. It was the third Imperial University in Japan and is one of the National Seven Universities. It is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Japan, and one of the top fifty universities in the world.

The Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation was established by the merger of The Matsushita International Foundation with The K. Matsushita Foundation of EXPO ’90 on August 2, 2010. The Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation has announced their scholarship application for 2018.

What are the benefits of the scholarship?

  • Living allowance: 120,000 yen per month
  • Admission (Entrance) fee: 282,000 yen
  • Tuition fee: 535,800 yen
  • Travel expense: Economy class roundtrip airfare between Japan and your country. (It will be paid to those who live outside Japan only.)

What is the duration of the scholarship?

From October 2018 until completion of Master’s program in 2020 (maximum 2 years)
