Eligibility Requirements
- Applicant must be from the Niger Delta region
- Must hold a First Class or Second Class (Upper or Lower Division) Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
- Must not be older than 40 years
- Must have a postgraduate admission letter from a recognised overseas university
- Must have completed NYSC (Discharge or Exemption Certificate required)

- Print the auto-generated acknowledgment slip for your records
Required Documents
- Recent passport photograph
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Postgraduate admission letter from a recognised overseas university
- Relevant degrees from recognised universities
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
Selection Process
- Online Application – Submit via the NDDC scholarship portal
- Preliminary Shortlisting – Based on WASSCE/NECO results and degree classification
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Conducted in Rivers State; candidates must score at least 70% to proceed
- Further Shortlisting and Oral Interview
- Final Verification – Through Local Government Area and Community Development Committee
Important Notes
- Preference is given to candidates from oil-producing host communities and LGAs
- Deferment, change of institution, and change of course are not permitted
- NDDC will not communicate with unsuccessful candidates at any stage
- The Commission ensures a fair spread of courses among beneficiaries within each state
- The scholarship amount is based on the prevailing Naira exchange rate
