LASU Postgraduate Admission Form for 2025/2026 Session

Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the sale of postgraduate admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The Postgraduate School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into over 200 postgraduate programmes across 21 faculties and centres.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₦30,300 (non-refundable), payable online into the LASU Account.

General Requirements

• Five (5) CREDITS including English Language at Ordinary Level (GCE, WASC, SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Credit in Mathematics at Ordinary Level for Science, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Educational Management courses

Application Deadline

Sale of application forms closes four (4) weeks from the date of publication (approximately mid-April 2026).

How to Apply

1. Visit the LASU Postgraduate portal at studentservices.lasu.edu.ng/pg_application/newstudents/
2. Generate your Application Number (Step 1)
3. Complete bio-data and select your programme
4. Make payment of ₦30,300 (Step 2)
5. Continue and complete your application (Step 3)
6. Print your completed application form

Entrance Examination

All applicants must sit for a qualifying Entrance Examination at LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos. Candidates must attend personally as make-up tests will not be conducted.

LASU offers over 200 postgraduate programmes in full-time and part-time formats across:

• Faculty of Arts: Languages, History, Philosophy, Theatre Arts, Music
• Faculty of Education: Multiple specializations including Counselling Psychology, Educational Management
• Faculty of Engineering: Electronic & Computer, Chemical & Polymer, Mechanical Engineering
• Faculty of Law: LLM programmes, Maritime Law
• Faculty of Management Sciences: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing
• Faculty of Science: Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Computer Science
• Faculty of Social Sciences: Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science
• College of Medicine: Anatomy, Physiology, Public Health
• Specialized Centres: Sustainable Development, Peace Studies, Planning Studies

Important Notes

• Candidates who have not completed NYSC or current postgraduate programmes should not apply
• Academic transcripts must arrive within two (2) weeks after the close of form sales
• Transfer of application forms between departments will not be entertained
