Maritime Academy Oron 2015/2016 ND Entrance Exam New Date

Maritime Academy Oron authorities have postponed the 2015/2016 ND Entrance Examinations and all applicants for the screening exercise are hereby informed and duly notified to take note. The new date has been announced as can be seen below.

About Maritime Academy, Oron

The Maritime Academy of Nigeria, formerly known and addressed as the Nautical College of Nigeria, was established in 1979 by the Federal Executive Conclusion No.EC.(77) 172. It was designed as an integrated institution for the education and training of shipboard officers and ratings shore-based management personnel. They graduated its first batch of Cadets in 1983.

In 1988, the status of the college was raised by the promulgation Decree No. 16 of 1988 with a statutory mandate to train all levels and categories of personnel required for the effective and efficient operation of all facets of the Nigerian maritime industry.

Maritime Academy Oron 2015/2016 ND Entrance Exam Postponed

The school management of the Maritime Academy Oron wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission into National Diploma in the following courses:

• Electrical Electronics Engineering
• Marine Meteorology and Oceanography
• Hydrology and Fisheries Science

that there is a change in the date for the entrance examination from 18th July, 2015 to Saturday, 25th July, 2015. This measure is taken in consideration of the forth-coming Sallah celebration.

Candidates are expected to come with their photo-cards for the purpose of identification.
