NECO GCE 2025 Results Released: How to Check Your Results Online

The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results for the 2025 November/December GCE examination. Candidates who sat for the exam can now check their results online through the official NECO portal.

1. Visit the official NECO result checking portal at results.neco.gov.ng
2. Select your exam year: 2025
3. Select your exam type: SSCE EXTERNAL (NOV/DEC)
4. Enter your Token Number and Registration Number
5. Click the Check Result button to view your results

2025 GCE Performance Statistics

NECO has released the following statistics for the 2025 GCE examination:

• Total Registered: 96,979 candidates
• Total Sat: 95,160 candidates
• Overall Pass Rate: 71.63% obtained five credits including English and Mathematics
• English Language: 78.32% achieved credit and above
• Mathematics: 91.35% achieved credit and above

Examination Timeline

• Exam Period: November 26 – December 13, 2025
• Marking Period: January 5 – January 21, 2026
• Results Released: 52 days after the final exam paper

What You Need to Check Results

To access your results, you will need:

• Your examination registration number
• A valid result checking token (scratch card)

If you don't have a token, you can purchase one from authorized NECO offices or approved vendors.
