The Kaduna State University (KASU) chapter of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has again, dismissed threats made by the management of the university over facing sanctions should the striking lecturers fail to suspend the ongoing strike and resume academic activities.
Dr. Peter Adamu, the branch chairman of ASUU, during an interview with newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, September 6, stated that the strike was legitimate and backed by national and international laws, hence no amount of threats will make them suspend it.
