Rivers State University of Science and Technology is a University located in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The University has staff strength of 3,000 and a student population of 17,000. The University was founded in the year 1980.
Since the creation of the Institution, the school has never had a Nursing School.
Hopefully, this will be a thing of the past as the State Government under the administration of Governor Wike is ready to provide financial support to the University to establish a Nursing School.
Speaking Yesterday, after paying a visit to the varsity on the 18th of February, 2016. The Governor promise that he will keep to his word.
