About 2017/2018 School of Medicine Full Tuition Scholarships for Commonwealth Countries
Application is currently ongoing for the 2017/2018 School of Medicine Full Tuition Scholarships for Commonwealth Countries.
The Commonwealth Jubilee Scholarship Program, commemorating the 60 years of the Queen’s reign as the Head of the Commonwealth of Nations, provides for 60 full-tuition scholarships to be awarded to citizens of Commonwealth nations. Ten scholarships are available for Doctor of Medicine students in the School of Medicine.
A Commonwealth Jubilee Scholarship Committee established by the University awards the scholarships. The scholarship funds tuition only. Students must have a financial plan in place to fund living and travel expenses through their own personal resources or alternative funding sources.
Application Deadline
- 1st November 2016 for January class.
- 1st of June 2017 for August class

Eligibility Criteria
A prospective scholarship candidate must be a resident citizen of a Commonwealth country, have been accepted to St. George’s University, and submit an essay detailing how this award will ultimately benefit the development of his/her country.
Eligible Field of Study: Medicine and related fields:
• Doctor of Medicine
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
• Master of Public Health
• Master of Business Administration
• School of Arts and Sciences
