The medical hostel of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has been attacked again, barely four months after the last attack, leaving many students injured and hospitalized.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspects stormed the hostel with guns and cutlasses around 2 a.m Wednesday, November 27th, and carted away with valuables after inflicting wounds on the occupants.
Almost half of the students were severely beaten and a girl was allegedly almost raped. The affected victims have since been rushed to the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) teaching hospital’s accident and emergency unit.
