UNICAL Admission List Now Available on JAMB CAPS 2025/2026

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has released its provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise can now verify their status through JAMB's Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check UNICAL Admission Status

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in using your registered email and password
3. Click "Check Admission Status"
4. Select "Access my CAPS"
5. Navigate to "Admission Status"

You'll receive one of two responses: either a congratulatory message with your photograph displayed, or a notification stating "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet."

How to Accept or Reject Your Admission

If offered admission, you have 4 weeks to respond by sending either "ACCEPT" or "REJECT" as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB.

Candidates without registered phone numbers should visit a JAMB-accredited center to respond.

Important Note

After accepting admission, print your admission letter immediately, as you'll need it for clearance and registration at the institution.
