Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for inter or intra-faculty transfer at UNILAG, you must:
- Minimum CGPA: 1.00 (must present current results showing your CGPA)
- Academic level: Must complete minimum 200 level by the end of 2024/2025 session
- Subject requirements: Must have required O'Level or A'Level subjects for your intended program
Application Fee
The transfer form costs ₦20,000 payable at any commercial bank using the Remita payment system.
Step-by-Step Application Process
- Visit UNILAG portal: Go to www.unilag.edu.ng and log in
- Complete preliminary form: Navigate to the Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer section and fill the initial form
- Generate payment advice: Obtain your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number
- Pay application fee: Visit any commercial bank and pay ₦20,000 using your RRR
- Print transfer form: Return to the portal after payment to print your completed form
- Attach documents: Include copies of your O'Level/A'Level results and current statement of results
- Obtain signatures: Get approval signatures from:
- Your current Head of Department (HOD)
- Your current Dean
- Proposed HOD (department you're transferring to)
- Proposed Dean (faculty you're transferring to)
- Submit forms: Submit four (4) copies to Academic Affairs, 6th Floor, Senate House by August 15, 2025
Permissible Transfer Routes
UNILAG allows seven major transfer pathways between faculties:
From Medicine/Pharmacy
Students can transfer to Science, Education, or Social Sciences faculties with specific departmental options.
From Law
Transfer options include Arts and Education faculties.
From Engineering
Students may move to Management Sciences, Education, or Science faculties.
Other Routes
