UNILAG Postgraduate Admission 2026/2027: Programmes, Fees and How to Apply

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) School of Postgraduate Studies has announced the opening of applications for the 2026/2027 academic session. The application portal opens on April 7, 2026.

• Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD)
• Master’s Degrees (M.A., M.Ed., M.Sc., LL.M.)
• Professional Master’s Programmes (MBA, MPH, MFM)
• Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.)

Study Modes

• Full-Time
• Part-Time
• Executive
• Open Distance Learning (ODL)

Application Fee

₦40,000 (Forty Thousand Naira)

Admission Requirements

• Recognised Bachelor’s degree for PGD and Master’s applicants
• M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates must confirm supervisor availability before applying
• Academic transcripts are mandatory
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory

How to Apply

1. Visit the UNILAG Postgraduate Portal and click “APPLY”
2. Check your programme eligibility
3. Generate a payment reference and pay ₦40,000 via Remita or online banking
4. Log in and complete your application form
5. Upload degree certificates and passport photograph
6. Submit your application before the deadline

Important Notes

• Candidates awaiting results or currently in another postgraduate programme are not eligible
• Degrees from outreach or satellite campuses will not be accepted
• Post-submission editing attracts a fee of ₦2,500
