UNIUYO Certificate and Diploma Admission Details for 2022/2023

The management of University of Uyo (UNIUYO) is currently selling forms for admission into its Certificate and Diploma programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session. UNIUYO Diploma programme is for two (2) academic years while the Certificate programme is for one (1) academic year. You can see other details below.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Certificate and Diploma Programmes of the School of Continuing Education, University of Uyo (UNIUYO), for the 2022/2023 academic session.

UNIUYO Certificate Programmes and Admission Requirements

ONE (1) YEAR FULL-TIME CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

(I) FACULTY OF ARTS DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE
a. Certificate Course in French (CCF)
(II) FACULTY OF ARTS
b. Certificate course in Music (CIM)
(III) FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Certificate in Fine & Industrial Arts (CFA)

Admission Requirements:

A minimum of three (3) credits including the English Language at the (WASC/NECO/GCE) or its equivalent are required for admission into the One year Certificate programme.

NOTE:

The successful completion of the Certificate Programme could enable successful candidates to seek admission through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) into any Nigerian University, including University of Uyo, provided that they meet the specific University, Faculty and Departmental admission requirements. Candidates must ensure that they had registered with JAMB. Candidates whose names are not found in the 2022/2023 UTME will NOT be admitted.

Successful completion of the Diploma programmes could enable applicants seek admission by Direct entry into the University of Uyo or any other University in Nigeria.

General Admission Requirements:

Candidates should possess (WASC/NECO/GCE) or its equivalent with Credit passes in four (4) subjects and above at not more than two sittings including English Language and other Departmental requirements. Diploma in Religious Studies requires at least four credit passes at the WASC/NECO/GCE ordinary level which must include English Language and Christian Religious Knowledge.

UNIUYO Diploma and Certificate Admission Method of Application

All interested applicants are therefore advised to log on to http://www.uniuyo.edu.ng and access the available programmes for 2022/2023 academic session.

Online Registration and Payment Instructions:

1. Visit http://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals or www.uniuyo.edu.ng (click on e-portals link SCEPS)

2. Select Admission forms link (on the side bar)

3. Select e-Form(s) option

4. Select Admission Type (Example; Certificate, Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate Degree (Part-time) as the Admission Form Type.

5. Enter your phone number, Name and E-mail address

6. Click the MAKE PAYMENT NOW button to make payment

7. Payment can be made online (using ATM card/internet banking) or any commercial Bank branch using pre-payment slip via Remita Platform

8. After payment return to the online portal and click on REGISTER LINK to obtain your login credentials

9. Note your Login credentials generated

10. Login, complete your registration and print out the 2022/2023 application form
