UNIUYO Faculty of Physical Sciences Begins Screening for New Students
The National Association of Physical Science Students at the University of Uyo has announced the commencement of physical screening for newly admitted freshmen in the Faculty of Physical Sciences for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Screening Venue
All affected students must report to the Faculty Office at the Permanent Site to complete their screening exercise.
Required Documents
Students must present the following documents during screening:
- WASSCE/NECO/GCE original examination results
- Certificate of Origin
- Stamped Acceptance Fee Payment Receipt
- NIN Certificate
- 2025/2026 Post-UTME Online Registration Form
- Six passport photographs with red background
- JAMB result slip
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- JAMB and UNIUYO Notification of Admission
- Recommendation Letter
Important Note on Recommendation Letters
The university has emphasized that recommendation letters must be issued by a village head, pastor, or senior civil servant not below level 12. Students are warned against purchasing these letters from cyber cafes, as such documents will not be accepted during the screening exercise.
Students are advised to prepare all required documents before reporting to the Faculty Office to ensure a smooth screening process.
