The University of Uyo Students' Union (SUG) has announced that registration for the General Studies (GST) Computer-Based Test (CBT) is currently ongoing and will close on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Students who have not completed registration are advised to act immediately to avoid exclusion from the exam.

Quick step-by-step: How to register

1. Open the official registration portal (link above) in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
2. Log in with your University of Uyo student credentials as required by the portal.
3. Complete any personal details and course information fields. Double-check spelling and matriculation number.
4. Follow payment instructions if the portal requires a CBT fee. Keep the payment receipt or screenshot.
5. Submit your registration and save a confirmation page or screenshot as proof.

Printing exam slips

The SUG says printing of examination slips will begin shortly after the close of registration. Your exam date and time will appear on the printed slip. Check the portal for the printing window, then:

• Print at least two copies of your exam slip (one to bring to the exam, one for backup).
• Verify your exam venue, date and time immediately on the slip.

What to bring on exam day

• Printed exam slip showing your date, time and venue.
• Valid student ID (University ID or any approved identity document).
• Bring only permitted items — most CBT centres do not allow phones, bags or electronic devices.
• Arrive at least 30–60 minutes early to complete any check-in procedures.

• If the portal is slow, try again during off-peak hours (early morning or late evening).
• Use a desktop or laptop where possible; some CBT portals restrict mobile functionality.
• Take screenshots at each step (submission confirmation, payment receipt) as evidence in case of issues.
• If you encounter persistent technical problems, report them immediately to your department, the university ICT unit or the Students' Union so they can escalate the issue.
