Latest: UNN Notice on Opening of Enugu Campus Hostel Accommodation Application Portal for Students, 2024/2025

The Portal for allocation of hostel accommodation (Bed Spaces) at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) for the 2024/2025 Session will commence on Monday, 24 February, 2025.

The schedule for the exercise is as follows:

1) 100% of Final year bed spaces will open on Monday, February 24, 2025

2) 100% of other year bed spaces will open on Wednesday, February 26, 2025

3) 70% of the 1st year bed spaces will open on Thursday 27, 2025, and remaining 30% at a later date to be announced.

Staff children are strongly advised to apply for bed spaces with other students when the Portal opens for their respective groups as there are extremely limited number of oncessional bed spaces available.

Key points to note if you are interested in securing a bed space in UNEC hostels:

1) You can only have access to the hostel accommodation portal if you have fully paid fees.

2) Hostel accommodation portal will open by 10:00am in the morning for the scheduled days.

3) Allocated bed space must be paid for within 72 hours, otherwise, it will be revoked and reallocated.

4) It is an offence to sell your bed space to another student (or anyone) or squat another student (or anyone) be it for economic gains or otherwise. Be informed that this is an offence punishable by at least two (2) semester rustication.

Any other necessary information to the above opening of the hostel accommodation portal will be communicated accordingly.

This is to inform the University Community that Student Affairs Department will open accommodation portal for our dear students for 2024/2025 academic session. The Department has put everything in place for our lions and lionesses. The dates for opening accommodation portal are as follows:

Wednesday 12th February, 2025: All Final year Students in Nsukka Campus.

Thursday, 13th February, 2025: Other Students in Nsukka Campus

Friday, 14th February, 2025: All First year Students in Nsukka Campus

Furthermore, other information leading to the subsequent opening of accommodation portal will be communicated as need arises.

UNN Hostel Accommodation: This is to inform the general public that the management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has published the process flow for undergraduate students to apply for hostel accommodation.

The process flow is as follows;

1. Login to the UNN Portal www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng

2. Click here to get hostel.

3. Enter your Matric Number and School Fees RRR

4. Select your desired hostel and generate invoice.

5. Make payments at the bank or using your ATM Card.

6. Print your hostel receipt.
