YSU Releases 2025/2026 Admission List on JAMB CAPS Portal

Yobe State University (YSU) has released its provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied to the institution can now verify their admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal.

How to Check Your Admission Status

Follow these steps to check if you have been offered admission:

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in with your registered email and password
3. Click on "Check Admission Status"
4. Select "Access my CAPS"
5. Navigate to "Admission Status" to view your result

Tip: Mobile users may need to switch to desktop mode in their browser to view the complete page properly.

Understanding Your Result

• If admitted: Your profile will display a congratulatory message along with your photograph
• If not admitted: You will see a notification indicating that no admission has been offered yet

Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

Successful candidates have four weeks to accept or reject their admission offer by texting ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

Candidates without registered phone numbers should visit an accredited JAMB center to complete this process. After accepting, print your admission letter before attending clearance and registration at the university.
