At The 38th convocation ceremony held on the 29th and 30th of January, 2016. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, awarded 89 first class degrees to 89 students.

According to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Garba, 2,086 made 2nd class upper, 7,108 made 2nd class lower, 3,161 made third class, 262 had pass while 443 had unclassified Degrees.

Also 4,598 students were conferred with higher degrees; 305 Ph.Ds; 2,669 Masters of Arts and Masters of Science; and 1,624 Post Graduate Diplomas.
